Central Europe (2024) – Berlin, Prague, Cesky Krumlov, Vienna, and Budapest
Georgia and South Carolina (2019) – quick trip to Cumberland Island, Brookgreen Gardens, Swan Lake, and the Congaree
Hawaii (2023) – the Big Island, Maui, Pearl Harbor, and Kauai
Maine (2021) – Portland, the Maine coast, Acadia National Park, Baxter State Park, and Milford, Pennsylvania
Montana and Alberta (2018) – Missoula, Kalispell, Glacier National Park, Waterton Lakes National Park, Banff, eastern Washington
New Mexico and Arizona (2019) – White Sands, Santa Fe, Taos, Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta, Los Alamos, Silver City, Tucson
Peru (2017) – Lima, the Ballestas Islands, Nazca, Arequipa, Cusco, the Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu (of course!), Lake Titicaca
Utah and Arizona (2020)– National Parks! Grand Canyon, Bryce, Arches, Canyonlands, Zion. As a bonus: Babylon Arch
Wyoming (2016) – Antelope Island (Utah), Craters of the Moon (Idaho), Grand Teton National Park, Yellowstone, Jackson Hole, Gooseberry Badlands
Cold Mountain (after the 2016 fire) – This isn’t actually travel–it’s a day hike, approximately a three-and-a-half hour round trip drive, but I wanted to post photos we took of the trail two months after a wildfire damaged the area.
